AMBER Alert

A MIDDLE TENNESSEE AMBER ALERT HAS BEEN ISSUED

A Middle Tennessee AMBER Alert is being issued by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation on the behalf of the Murfreesboro Police Department for 8 year-old Gabriel Swaney. Gabriel is a white male, 4'0 tall, weighs 100lbs and has blonde hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a navy t-shirt with a cartoon character on the front, navy shorts and sandals. Gabriel was taken by his father after a domestic with his mother on May 19, 2013. Gabriel's father, Michael Swaney, is armed with a rifle, a handgun, and a switch blade knife. He used the knife to assault the mother. Swaney is a 30 year-old white male, 5'7" tall, weighs 140lbs and has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen driving a 1995 maroon Chevy Impala with TN tag 494RFP. Aggravated Domestic Assault warrants have been issued for Swaney.
